Surgery

Preoperative period

Gynecomastia can be treated with liposuction only if it is determined with high prevalence of adipose, otherwise the surgeon won’t be able to remove the glandular tissue and will have to make a small incision in the lower half of the areola to allow surgical extraction.

Postoperative period
Analgesics will relieve the mild post operative pain bruises and edema will disappear within few days. A compressive top will be worn for one to two months.
